Alternator with Optima yellow top?
do i have to run an alternator with a Optima yellow top? Im told by some people that i dont have to run an alternator. any input will be appreciated. thanks!

does it charge itself? 
if its a street car yes you need an alternator, if its a drag only car, why dont you look into getting a higher voltage racing battery?
