There is no point in throwing on new front forks for your bike. It's simply a waste of money. Save that money towards a new(er) bike. Learn all you can by riding the bike. Your skills will carry over from bike-to-bike. If you still feel limited by the suspension, then you can put in Race Tech's Cartridge Emulators to upgrade the front end without a lot of dosh.

And punctuation and spell check are your friends.

+1

Take the money that you would spend on suspension and enroll in a grammar course at your local community college. That will help you a lot more than better forks will.

I also second the comment that it would be money poorly spent.

If I remember correctly the 91 is a f2 correct? If so you can put a set of 94 forks on. They are a little more adjustable than the 91's if I am not mistaken.

If you were to put f3 forks on you would have to change the front rim and brakes as the brake rotors will not match up to the calipers. (Ask me how I know....)

Then you have the problem of your speedo. The speedo on the 91-94 is a mechanical unit mounted on the front wheel. On the f3's and newer they are electronic and mounted in the tranny.

Another option would be taking a set of f3 forks and using your f2 lower fork legs. I have not tried this so I don't know if there is a compatibility issue or not.

On the pre f2 bikes (hurricane/f1) the suspension is different as well. The f2/f3 forks would bolt on to them but the steering stops are located in different places on the different generations.

I have done all of these swaps on my bikes this is how I know first hand. Any other ?'s just ask.

-Just replace with stock, or put the money away for a newer bike. No use puting alot of money into a older bike, unless you just really want to.
