Default takes awful long time to start the car!

when im starting my car, when the car is not warmed up, it takes pretty long time for the car to start. like i would turn the key, and the car would make that errrrrrrrrrrrrrr for about 2 to 3 full seconds then start the engine.. what could be the problem? i have ngk spart plug and pulley if that matters. thx!

Sounds like your battery might be going dead. Go have it checked out and see what they say. If it's not your battery, then it might be your starter

thx, ill have my battery checked, but if its not batter (sorry im a noob) whats a starter?

a electric motor that starts the engine...........hence the name "starter"

The starter on my Lude is located on the left side of the block so check over there if you want to replace it

i had this same problem, and it ended up to be a faulty injector flooding one of my cylinders. check your injectors.

i'd check spark plugs b4 any of that other stuff.
