This is a good example of why learning to type, spell, and use punctuation is important. I read the first third of his... statement, and stopped. So I at least am not going answer his... statement; whatever he's trying to say was lost. If you want to get an answer here, ask a coherant question...
wow dude...ur talking on a forum to someone you dont even know, and u want him to write a formal essay to you? he's asking a question and ur not helping any by ripping on his grammer...

Who the hell are you kids?
To the poster: I'd suggest giving at least SOME detail as to what the hell is going on.

I do too. I also like to reply to people that can type well. But shell = crap without spare engine. But that is my opinion. Maybe it'd be worth more if part of the engine was salvageable. Given the price of gasoline, I'd still rather have a motorcycle, more fun and better mileage. Sorry for your loss.

maybe you should come over to my house and suck my ****. I have no desire to help someone who can't type a complete sentence.

You have posted twice in this thread, which means that 1/7 of your entire post count has not been technical, nor has it had any bearing on how we are to think of people who can't spell. People will join this site just to ask one question, and when they make their thread no one can understand what they are trying to ask, due to poor English and even poorer grammar. So dont join this site and talk as if you have something to prove, because with that attitude, your stay here wont be long.
Going back to the original thread creator, it is hard to put a price on a shell if we do not even know what the shell is and the condition that it is in. If it is in good shape, and is a 5th gen I would say that you could probably ask around $2,000 for it. If it is a 4th gen shell I would say that you could probably ask around $1,500, if it is in good condition. 4th gen shells will probably sell for less than 5th gen shells due to car being older, which means that they are more prone to have some rust spots and aging joints, etc.

How did the motor "blow up"? If the whole engine isn't "blown up", you might just be able to fix it.

Not to give you any hope, but I just sold my engineless shell (still included tranny) for $5,000. It was a faded milano red BB1 with many extras. Friend had an H22 just sitting around and wanted a prelude. I got really lucky. Not that this helps you at all because I don't even know what year chassis or trim level you are trying to sell.
