There is no "charge time". The V6 engine runs all the time, except durring idle stop.... like at a stop sign. Under normal light load driving conditions, the engine runs on either 3 or 6 cylinders depending on load, and will use the electric motor to assist if needed. It also uses the motor to recharge the battery when you are decelerating. As far as the driver is concerned, there is no need to do anything different than you would normally do. There is no plug to plug it in.... there is no charging mode you need to turn on. That is the beauty if the Hinda Integrated Motor Assist system. It's automatic, self-aware, and pro active. It does what it needs to do to stay charged and provide the increased fuel economy - all while being nearly undetectable to the driver.
