Default Re - clearcoat wheels

I find alot of threads discussing painting wheels but hardly any discussing re-clearcoating the wheel.

I have GSR blades and the clear coat is peeling/cracking. I hear that duplicolor is a good brand to use on wheels and plan on using it.

I have read DIy's on T-I and H-T but am unsure on what step I should take after using Aircraft remover to remove the old clearcoat. Do I spray Duplicolor silver and then spray w/ clearcoat. Or just spray Duplicolor clearcoat after removing the old coating.

Thanks
