inverted tie rods
The only possible reason i can see for someone doing this is to compensate for an extremely lowered car.... however this is a BIG NO NO!!!!! The tie rod end id tapered... shaped sort of like a V. The steering knuckle is also shaped like a V. They fit together perfect. like this >> If you flip the tir rod over, you will change the fit.... like this <> not good... you could snap a tie rod.

Is 100% correct. This should not be attempted without some serious machine work to invert the tapper
