Front wheel spacer? Need some Assistance
Well Brian and I ripped apart the bike yesterday (01 f4i) and replaced my bent forks. Upon reassembly of my front wheel we noticed that the bike seemed to be missing a spacer on its right side. We never heard anything drop while taking the wheel off and it is nowhere to be found. We just think it was missing in the first place
. Anyway, I just want to try and verify if #4 is the right part http://www.ronayers.com/fiche/...5.cfm

Also, since we just replaced the forks is there someplace I should go to get this thing aligned correctly. We noticed while messing around w/ the fork bolts that we can throw off the alignment quite significantly, if there is such a thing as an alignment how much do they usually run? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

measure from he top of the triple clamp to the top of the fork tube and make sure that they are as close as possible in measurement. Once the entire set up is bolted together it becomes a solid triangulated structure. Unless you have adjustable triple clamps or an adjustable neck, there is not mush else a shade tree can do. If your bike is supposed to have a spacer, put her back in
