T1 / Honda Heaven Turbo 4 project
Well, after loosing a few turbos on Allen's car recently we decided to make some changes. Come to find out, the turbo problem was a faulty oil feed line, but whatever. Great reason to go bigger and better! lol We'll be hitting the dyno tomorrow and the Clash race this weekend in San Antonio.
The setup is a One Fab top mount manifold (which fits like a glove with this big *** turbo!), GT42R, Precision intercooler with T1 endtanks, and a T1 airbox. We'll see what it does, hopefully put the car in the 9's. Also made some suspension changes that i'm pretty sure are going to make a considerable difference. Anyways, enough small talk, here's the pics...

what kind of power output are you guys looking for, and does it still fit in the street class with such a large turbo? i thought the 40r was the biggest allowed, but i could be wrong. anyway, more pics wanted if available, looks amazing!

No chance of reproducing that airbox w/o the car here. It's a very tight fit and it would be impossible to make one here and it fit your buddys car. It actually took quite a while to build that.

The old setup made 660whp and never even made a pass at that power. Anything more than that i'll be happy, I know it'll run a good number with that. The 42R is legal for NOPI.

cool, im still learning all the rules from the different sanctioning bodies, good luck with the car it should definatelly run a good number with power like that. im assuming the car is somewhere around 2400lbs with the driver, or does nopi allow a lower weight also?

I don't have any pics of the rest of the downpipe, but it just makes a 90 and dumps between the tranny and radiator.
NOPI does allow lower weight, we are at 2450 w/driver right now. It still has a stock hood, stock sunroof, and a 300lb driver! We'll probably be closer to 2500lbs with this turbo and ic.

damn !! tony this was exactly the setup i was planning on doing to my car ... with the airbox and everything with the top mount. are those Z10Eng vbands i see?
