how many MPG does a zc in a crx 89 get?

If hes worried about MPG, he better be using a DX. or even better and HF.

and si Trans will distroy his MPG.

Im almost not looking forward to putting my b16 into my crx.

i got 25mpg with my jdm zc complete swap in my 89 Si. My gsr crx gets 26-27

 

i get the same as ham i get anywhere between 25-3- mpg and i have a l3 tranny.

 

I've got ZC in my 89 with an Si trans. I'm not sure of the mileage, but its really not that bad. I thought it was going to be worse.

 

dohc zc in a 91 hatch....with zc 5spd. tranny. i get 32-35 highway....and anywhere between 22-30 city depending on my mood.

 

i had a std EF and i got 38mpg with it, when i beat the **** out of it, i got 36mpg. with my gsr i get like 20 when i beat on it. the zc seemed consistent around 25 though.

 

i get way worse mileage with vtec engines than i ever did with my zc....seems like you get all excited rippin thru gears with vtec and the next thing you know you're on empty!! my last 98 prelude could get as bad as 17-18 mpg when romping on it.....and my 02si can get as low as 20 also. just stay out of vtec range and all is good; yeah right lol.

 

preludes and new Si's are heavy

 

5 speed zc tranny and i have a si tranny to the zc is dohc non vtec

 

my dohc zc with 91 si tranny got on avg around 30-35 mpg.......everywhere i read it was always sayin use the dx if your worried about gas milage........and i say i wanna hit them over the head witha malet.....cuz i got damn good gas mileage compared to my mustang v8 i have now (though its a lot faster; but damn it drinks gas)

 

my zc was so good on gas

 

ZCs have more agressive cams comapred to Bseries vtec mid range cam, so they sould get worse gas mileage, similar to a B18a.

 

havent seen too many b18s that can get 30+ mpg on avg......
