03 Accord headlights and sound upgrades
I got some hid headlights and they look great, but how can I stop the clear headlight plastic from getting cloudy. I also want to upgrade my in car speakers without a box or clogging out my trunk. I've had the BOOM over the last ten years, but now I want clarity and punch. I thought getting some 3way 6x9's and some 5.25 or 6.5's would be good. Plus, do anybody know if you can use your steering wheel volume control with a indash DVD screen? Alpine/Kenwood ECT....
You have to seal (Silicone clear $5 @ Autozone) the top of the headlights and I would suggest you to takeout the back speakers to measure the size. I have kickers in the back and it won't clear the rods for the trunk to open. I'm a big Alpine fan, but those are expensive.
I have heard a couple people in other forums that have replaced the speakers in their 03-05 accord coupes with alpines and kenwoods and were dissastified. They said they had more bass with the original speakers. This is the case because if you replace the door and back speakers with some alpines you have to get an amp in order to get the full potentiol of those speakers. I have a 05 accord coupe EX and I was thinking about putting an LCD DVD deck in my car. What sucks is that the AC controls are intergrated with the factory deck so I dont know how that would work out. What I really want to do is put an LCD DVD deck were the big storage space door is located below in the center console. That would look tight

That's the one they give you for free, but I'm not sure where it goes. Go to the site and click on what fits my car, and put in your info. After picking a radio, they will offer a kit or an optional kit for $149. Click on it to enlarge it. But to put something down below, I think thats a total cumtom job. I'm not sure, but I don't think it's a kit for that.
