Where can i get a jdm center console for my 91 EF hatch? I rarely ever see them on ebay and stupid kids that have to bid 20 times when theres 5 days left, make that **** like $230 by the time its done. Would any other center console fit ... like a crx or old integra I heard. Im cool with that but if I have to modify the console I dont want it to be noticable. I just want the driver and passenger seat to be divided but am have a hard time finding a ef9 console. Thanks.

 

a JDM EF9 center console will not work on a LHD car. Because where it screws in at is not in the same place as a USDM center console

on the left side as shown with an arrow, it screws in behind the glove box



the one on the right is behind the fuse cover



now you can probably use console part 1 in picture but i am not sure if it bolts right up. but instead of doing that you might as well try to get one from the CDM(sp?) Canadian hatchback(easier to get but is still pretty hard)

And the lower shift console part 2 in picture is universal and will work from any hatch JDM, EDM, UKDM. Any of them will bolt right in

 

You can use the console from the 94-00 Integra. Do a search, its been covered before.

I have the Canadian Special Edition Hatchie console. Looks killer and bolts up just like the stocker USDM. Good luck finding one though... I had a friend in Canada buy it and send it to me in LV, and that was the last one available in the dealer's system.

If you want the teggy console, as Sikocivic stated, the 94-00 will work quite well. It will give you an armrest AND cupholders. I don't know of any EF-OEM console that would give you that, unless you were giving/getting special "favors" from the factory .

 

goto to the junk yard, pick up a whole crx dash, install it, and for the rest of your hatches life. It should only cost $100 including gauge cluster.

 

That's another possibility...
