Hi, yesterday we started the engine for the first time, we started it with some h22a injectors we've set the fuel pressure regulator at 38psi and after a few minutes we checked the spark plugs and they were extremely black, we lowered pressure to 30psi and the af ratio was still too rich, so we decided to change the injectors to some 240cc GSR injectors and we set the pressure to 42psi and the spark plugs then looked fine, is it safe to run that engine with those small injectors? we made some calculations and we should use (according to RC injector calculator) some 340cc injectors, for now we are only using it to break in the engine. Any help would be appreciated.

no, only custom ECU chipped by Erick's Racing.

 

what injectors size did erick originally write the chip for....becuase you cant go swapping injector sizes unless you have a back up way to pull out fuel (like and afc) pulling fuel pressure out across the bored may help u idle but it might lean out your motor on top end....

 

He made the chip thinking on some 370cc injectors, I think he should have sent less fuel on Idle considering the size of the injectors, I talked to him today and he's pretty sure he did it that way, he changed drastically the maps from 4,000rpm and above.
