Oil Pressure Sender location
I just searched around a couldn't find my answer so I thought I'd ask it myself.
Where do I hookup my Autometer oil pressure gauge sending unit on my JDM h22?
I want to get a good pressure source for the block so I was going to replace the factory pressure light/switch spot, but it appears to be a huge 20mm threaded hole, and my sender is only a 1/8 npt/bspt?
Is everyone using some kind of adapter or something?
I used the oil port<pre-vtec port> on my head to feed my turbo system and I'm starting to think about just T-ing off that spot to use my gauge. But I really wanted a block source spot.
Any suggestions?

the factory ops is on the back of the block right below the filter, at least on my usdm h22a4. my setup consists of an 18" stainless braided line off of the block (to take pressure off of the block and prevent possible cracking), with two "T's" one for the turbo oil feed and the other for the factory ops and my autometer gauge.

Yes, I've got the same type setup... except I don't have the second tee for the turbo line.
The block thread is bspt... and the autometer is npt. So you will need to get a 1/8bspt to 1/8npt plug to put in the block... then get everything else (line and tee) in npt. then get a npt to bspt for one side of the tee to hook the stock sender back up.
btw- I was able to order everything I needed from http://www.mcmaster.com/
A very usefull site.

Thanks guys,
But my problem is when I took the Oil dummy light switch out it was a huge 20mm threaded hole, not the usual 1/8bspt size I'm used to finding on b-series and apperintly some H's it seems now too.
Surely someone has to have ran accross this before?

Hmm, that sounds strange if it is not the 1/8bspt. I was under the impression that all honda's came with that size. Either way as long as you can find what fits that hole I'm sure you can find an adapter on MCMaster to change it to NPT and be on your way.

Unscrew the sensor from the 20mm plug, thread the plug back into the block, and you'll be left with the 1/8" threaded hole.
