Does anyone know if a JDM DA 90-93 OBD1 cluster plugs straight into a JDM DA non-OBD cluster?

the clusters are the same except the 90-91 has different looking needles than the 92-93

 

true... so basically it's a plug n' play procedure? No need to modify anything?

 

yeah dude, the JDM Xsi cluster even fits in an 83 prelude...

the colour codes should be matched carefully though, there were some differences in placement but ALL the colour codes of the wires are the same.

You dont have to cut or rewire anything either if you swap the inidcators and circuit board from the back of your old cluster to the new one. I would recommend doing this because the jdm cluster doesnt have sometimes dont have cruise, seatbelt, trunk, and ABS indicators. Basically the only worth swapping over is the tach and the speedo. Everything is a lot of work and will require sacrificing some functionality.
