RSX-S vs. S2000
This question is posed to anyone who has driven both:
Are the differences in the two cars enough to make me want to sell my RSX and move up to an S2K? After a promotion in my job the S2K is suddenly within my price range.

hahah
tue that.. there is no way to compare both.. one is a car and the other is a sports-car. I know it sounds gay and all but you cant compare. One thing i hate about the RSX is the leather seats, there is way too much room in that car.. when driving it stock and taking corners little harder then usually you will be flat against the window trying to regain the control of the car.. S2k feel much more natural in the handling department.

Owning an s2000 and having driven in a rsx type s of a friends numerous times i would have to say that the s2000 is much more of a car. While the rsx is a sports car, it is not in essence what a s2000 is. Head to head on speed comparision the rsx type s will get walked everytime by the s2000. I dunno there is something about just slipping into the seats and sitting behind that steering wheel and digital tach that just makes me get all girly every time that i drive the car. Overall my impressions of the two cars:
1. RSX Much more practical car for daily driver terms, more room, more creature comforts. Basically just like an integra.
2. S2000 What can you say about a n/a open top roadster that just screams. I love my s2000 bone stock. It really is more of an impractical car for a daily driver, but is up to the task if need be. Case in point, my s2k is stored for the winters and is never taken out in the rain. I am just that **** about driving it.
Choice is yours when it comes down to the two cars, but the rsx is better suited to daily driver and practicablity.

What does that mean?
So you will see a ton of them on the road. There aren't as many s2000's.

Good info, Boosted.
I've got the RSX-S and have a blast with it, especially the past two track events at VIR with SpeedTrialUSA.
I considered the S2K, and although it is much faster and may handle a little better ("little" only after swapping stock tires on RSX for better rubber), I found the RSX to be much more practical as a daily driver. That's how I made my decision
As a track car, I wanted to be able to carry tools, etc. with me to the track and didn't want to buy a tow vehicle and trailer. The RSX-S has been a good purchase for me so far, and I don't regret getting it over the S2K.
If I could afford two cars, one daily, one toy, I'd probably buy one of each!

get a type R, its the best of both worlds
I agree
I agree
I have a Type R, but can't stand the headaches about where to drive it and worrying about it getting stolen....thinking about selling it and getting an S2000. Although the S2000 probably gets F*#@&# around with, I don't think as many of them get stolen like the Type R.
