JDM Headlight wiring (searched)
Ok, so i about to finally buy JDM 1 piece headlights. I searched the archives and came up with a bunch of stuff, but the bad thing is...all the links for install guides and pictures of the wiring conversion are old and gone. I want them set up the way they are in japan. I understand that I have to convert to H4 and H1 bulbs. H4's being the headlight, and H1's being the fog light.
But i dont know if i want to have them like JDM and loose my high beam but have the foglight. Or if i want them like USDM having different low and high's.
How does everyone else think they should be done?
I went to this site http://www27.brinkster.com/sons/jdmlights.html but it doesnt tell how to wire it.
I understand that Satan_SRV knows quite a bit about it. Can anyone help me out with a write up with pictures. All of them in the archives are dead links.

the h1 is actually used for the high beam not for a fog. people do use it as a fog though.

They are wired just like the US lights. you just dont use the high beam in the h4. if you want to get tricky you can get a relay so you can turn on the high beam in the h4 but it wont work well with the beam pattern and dont burn out the h4 having the high and low on at the same time.

i just installed mine, you need to buy some different connectors to your USDM light plugs, the plugs are for speakers, just find the ones that will fit the lights of the JDM and your done, oh and you also need to cut the udms wires to connect to the plugs as well. dont know if that helped but thats how i did he
