did u do any work on the brake system?
check the clearance for the brake booster to master cylinder. this happened to me when i installed a new brake booster. and actually since the clearance wasnt right, it was slowly locking up my brakes.
after i set the clearance right (had to rig it up using washers in between the master and booster), I had to disconnect the sensor, adjust it, and then plug it back in.
Then I was good to go

Sounds like a broken brake light switch. I had the same problem on my hatch a while back - it's a plastic switch that can break. There is a slot in the brake pedal lever that the switch attaches to. You can stick a bolt in that slot and it will push the plunger switch up to turn off the lights. Sounds complicated, but if you look up underneath the dash it should make sense.
so the switch is on the actual brake pedal correct...going to look at it in the morning. btw mugenmike by sticking the bold in the slot will it fix the problem or will i have to go to acura and buy the part???
How the hell is this type R related? It seems you have a integra LS? Your in the wrong forum. Go buy a new switch and stop your crying you little girl....If you are in the miami area, make sure you go to DR technologies....they have great prices.

The switch actually runs through the brake light lever. If the bottom of it breaks off, the plunger portion of the switch will poke right throught eh slot in the brake pedal lever. I stuck a bolt in the slot, and it worked for the remainder of the time I owned the car.

As far as I'm concerned, you're the only asshat here. Appears you have an EM1 from you avatar - maybe YOU need to go to a different forum.

NOt the pedal, but the lever that the pedal is attached to. Get underneath the dash and take a look, it will make more sense that way.
