Need T water temp gauge adapter :)
Just like the title says, I need one of them T shaped adapters for my water temp gauge, in order for it to work you gotta cut the radiator hose and screw the sending unit in that comes with the gauge, anybody got that for sale
You can make one pretty easy, or I'll make you one for like $20 cause I have the big *** tap that cost like $20 you will need for the hole. You have the autometer one right? I have a pic of the one I made for mine, its right below the distributor---
PM me if you want one, or I can tell you how to do it if you want to try it yourself.

no i'm gettin one of them APC gauges from pepboys, i aint got the money for autometer, would you know the size of the sending unit if you make it? if not then could you tell me step by step how to make it and i'll do it my self, thanks for the info man
I only said I could make it because if its like the autometer one there is a big *** hole you need to tap to screw the sending unit into, its like 11/16" or something. Ill look and see, but if it comes with directions see what size teh hole is for the sending unit and what the thread pitch is. THen just measure the I.D. of your radiator hose, get a little 4" long pipe that fits in there and drill and tap it for the sending unit and your done.
i got the gauge today looks pretty simple, i just got one question, do you just connect a piece of wire to the top of the sending unit and to one of them screws on the back of the gauge?
Hmmm, mine came with the wire from the back of the guage straight to the sensor, there was no way to disconnect it. It was a thick solid copper wire too. Thats kind of sketchy, I dont know how that guage will work, and if its just a wire it cant be that accurate?? I dont know about that one

gotta wait till tomr for my gauge cuz i didn't specify that i wanted mechanical gauge and they ordered an electrical one , but the guy was cool as hell, he kept the price of 63 for electrical, instead of new price of 74 for mechanical so it's worth waitin
i just put the gauge in today man, works perfect and everything i just have a small leak out of one of the hoses, i used plumbing T pipe and a bushing with autometer sending unit and the lil thing no welding or anything if u want i can send u pics i don't know how to post them on here
imma give it till tommorrow or something to see if it goes away u kno if it's the fittings gettin in its place if not imma fix the leak, but my temps kinda goin up and down but everythings fine , i guess me and a buddy of mine pulled it off, thanks for all the info again
