Timing at 11 degrees
My timing is currently at 11 degrees and i can't advance the dizzy any further. Will being off one tooth cause this? Just checking so I can have some piece of mind and start trouble shooting tomorrow. Last I checked my cam and crank pully were dead on, but I did loosen and tighten my tensioner lately.

Nah, I'm pretty sure I just jumped a tooth when playing around with the belt. I was just looking for some affirmation. I found someone mentioning in the archives also being off and couldn't exceed 10 degrees and it turned out they had jumped a tooth.
Unless there is more to the timing than lining up the crank pulley and cams to TDC and then adjusting the timing to 16 +/- 2 degrees via a timing light then i'm pretty sure i'm doing it right.

if your base timing is maxed and only at 11 degrees, you are better off just removing the belt and making sure everything is TDC again. and make sure to rotate the crank/belt after you tighten the tensioner 5 or 6 times counter clockwise to double and triple check everything is aligned properly. if its off a tooth, Id say you are lucky damage hasnt occurred. better safe than sorry.
