i broke a cam in in half and i talked to crower and they said no prob but i need proof of purchase, now i bought the cam off someone else,

does anyone have one they can fax me or anything i will paypal them 5 bucks or something!!

i believe i have one. I snapped a crower cam into 6 pieces before...and used the receipt to return it. Idk if you want to try it or not. Receipt is from i believe 3 years ago though. Just let me know.

Get the reciept off "someone else" that you got them from, just so we know they are not stolen. Your buddy should have a reciept.

i did contact the person i bought them off of and the cams where purchased in a motor he bought,

Ah. the ****** word. You did not buy the cams, your buddy did not buy the cams, and you do not even know if the other shmuck bought the cams. Why should you get a warrenty? Sounds like your pal owes you a set of cams.That is who you bought them from. He scamed you not Crower.

 

ok so if u bought a name brand used such as like snap on or something like that just because u bought it used does that mean that u shouldent get a new tool if it breaks? i bought crower cams because i figured they where top of the line, crower name i dident figure it would snap 4 lobes from the distrib after 250 miles, its a defect in the cam.

 

racing parts usually dont have any warranties stated.... crower is doing alot more than they should have to by even offering anything like this but they have their rules and if you cant meet them then you dont deserve a warranty....

and you dont think that crower may have recieved word of this thread and are expecting
you to "try" and warranty this ****...

it could have been installation error, not saying that it was but its a thought, u never know how the other ppl that had them before you treated them. Your like the youngest brother who got hand-me-downs two older brothers so your not gauranteed to get a perfectly good set. I myself took the chance buying used 403's and thats just the chance you gotta take if you dont buy new.

 

You have given me an idea. I think I will go the Pawn shop, see if I can find some old Snap-On tools for cheap, break them and get some new ones.YOUR PAL OOWES YOU FOR THE CAMS.
