Code 9 !!! Already searched
So I got a code 9 on my pg7 ecu. I did a timing belt service and turned the car on and it Idle fine for 10+ mins. I drove it around the block and it fell on its face.
I get a code 9. Here is my question If my belt is off timing wont it code 9 immidiately after I turn it on or atleast within the 10 mins. It code 9 and started bogging about 20 mins after being turned on.

I am guessing your tensionor wasn't tightened all the way and it got loose after a short amount of time and when you were driving it slipped a tooth and possibly damaged your motor (unlikely since it was still running) check the alighnment on your cam and crank pully before you do anything then post again
I was asking IF my cam timing was wrong would it cause a code immediately after idling or later? Its no my first belt install, So my adjustment pully was definitely tight.
Okay Just got home, checked all my timing, and reset the Ecu. No more code 9 but I now I have a code 1 O2 sensor. I replaced it with a universal one. Still code 1. symptoms: car idles fines till fully warm. I go drive it , and it starts to chugg bogg you name it! I try to rev it up and it wont. I can smell the excess fuel. what is wrong?
