Just got my R
After reading about these things for over 2 years and roaming this board for about a year I picked up a 98 Type R with 30,905 miles on it, all stock, except for tinted windows, an alarm, and a little Clarion bass tube in the truck. The cars in perfect condition and I couldn't be happier. I plan on getting out to some Autox's and track days once I learn the car a little. Later, Ryan

Man, speedy replies. I paid 18k for that car and feel that it was a great deal. A woman bought the car new and is who I bought it from. My dad and I flew out from Dulles in Washington DC to Memphis TN to drive her 16 hours home to central VA. Best car ride I've ever had Also the previous owner was a great person to deal with and I just received the window sticker and some other original paperwork in the mail today. Also since her boyfriend is in the parts business I have an extra 8 oil filters, a full set of brake rotors-didn't realize they were so heavy-compared to my dad's Saturn, and 2 sets of brake pads. Don't feel bad for her though she just ordered a Suzuka Blue S2000 with a blue leather interior Their's an autox coming up soon near where I live and plan on attending if not taking part in it. I'd post some pics but I'm not exactly sure how to. They are up on the web though. If someone lets me know how I'll put them up ASAP. She's really beautiful

Congrats! you got the right color. Definately hit that autocross, i was running my car within a week of getting it.

Wow, this may sound a little lame, but I love the R so much; and I remember how I felt when I first got mine (about 2 months ago now). I actually get a little excited when I hear about someone getting an R for the first time! I know, I know, down boy... Hehehe.
