Default B16A into 90 Teg

I would like to put a B16a into my '90 4 dr Integra. Since this is going to be the first time I have ever swapped an engine, I am uncertain about one thing. I would appreciate as much detailed information as possible.

1. How much modification (if any) to the wiring harness is necessary? Obviously, I have to do some in order for the VTEC ingagement, but how entailed is it? The mechanical stuff doesn't bother me, it's the electrical.

Remember, I'm a virgin....
with the engine swaps that is.

You will have to run four extra wires.

VTEC solenoid
VTEC pressure sensor
Secondary O2 sensor
Knock Sensor

It is not really that involved. Run the four wires to the ecu and to the sesnors and you are done. everything else should be plug and play.

Thanks for the help boys. Appreciate it. Glad to hear it is simple, cause my Integra has an immaculate body, but the engine has 157,000+. I have a long wait in store for the Evo, so I figure an engine swap for my beater is appropriate.

you should check out http://www.g2ic.com about 30 people there have done the same swap. Also if you go to the "teg tips" section they have a detailed report of what is needed to put any B series into our cars. Good luck with swap. I just ordered at B16 for my car.
Good luck,

Dan
