this question is borderline ridiculous.
youll burn your clutch to the ground trying to tow the trailer let alone the bikes in it. the d16 doesnt have the torque... itll pull it, but your clutch will seriously be destroyed...

That's not entirely true. I have a hitch on my civic, and I tow a small trailer to the track; and I know alot of guys pull alot more equipment than I do. It has a rated capacity of 2000lbs, with 200lb tounge weight. It could probably do it, but not very comfortably; I know it can tow one bike easily with a small trailer.
It says not to tow in the manual for liability reasons. They don't want idiots thinking they can tow a camper or something (which I have seen done).

dont hit any bumps...
dont need a thread on here saying, "towing a trailer and lost it on the freeway after hitting a bump"
have uhaul install a hitch. then you can blame any issues on them.

Like I said, I do it all the time. Towed a trailer 3hrs up to NHIS for a race on the highway this Sunday with 500/600 lb springs and lowered. Other Honda guys do the same thing.
I'd suggest either a Hidden Hitch or a D'lan (I think that's how you spell it).

if you think you are going to tow quite often, id swap a b20 into it and then pass people as your towing your trailer...

Not at all with my suspension now. It did a little with my Eibach Pro-kits on; but not much. My tire tail did make it sag a bit (see pics in sig) because all the weight was on the hitch, but it still didn't affect how the car behaved on the highway; but it doesn't sag at all with the coilovers now either.
You can tell something is back there, but the car still handles okay as long as you don't overload. Besides, who drives like a jackass with a trailer on anyway? That's what'll get you into trouble.
