my buddy just bought an 05 rsx type s and wnats to put just an axleback on it and wants to know what the stock size is of the piping?

 

its about 2.5". its the same as the JDM ITR exhaust.

 

isnt the rear section less than 2.5? i rember reading somewhere that the rear section of the 05 is what makes it restrictive?

 

What about the rest of the years? I'm looking into getting an OEM muffler off of a sportier H/A car that uses at least 2.25" piping for it's exhaust. I've narrowed it down to the ITR (2.25") and the S2000 (2.4").

BTW it's for a 95 accord wagon......

anyone know if the piping is the same? what i mean is, are the bends all in the same place because i was looking to get piping from kteller instead of paying for an exhaust that is already out there. he charges a lot less and produces high quality piping. are all the hangers in the same place? basically, will the 2002 rsx type-s piping bolt on perfectly to an 05 or 06?
