Hey guys

Quick question before I buy it. Ive got an 88 Crx Si, but Im building up a D16a6 motor. I used a d16z6 venom intake manifold but it comes plumbed for a Z6 IACV, can I just bolt on a Z6 iacv with the oem A6 wiring? Does it work?

I seen a pic of the z6 iacv and they looked a little different on the end?

not positive, but i dont think so, my boy has a 99si and his iacv went bad, we tried to use one off a d16y8 and it didnt work, so i would say no, but i could be wrong...

 

they are different shapes but all the holes line up...i believe u have to match the obd systems though...i dont think that an obd1 will work with an obd0 car...

 

I know the bolts dont line up. my A6 IACV (known to be bad) is alot longer but the 2 holeson the inside bolt up

I wasnt sure about the OBD thing though

I guess Ill just plug the one bolt hole and tap n drill one for my d16a6 that ill have to grab at a junkyard

 

crazy the one from my d15b7 fit perfectly on my b16...u know what though...my b16 has a 2g head on it....so im not sure..
