1993 accord, brake pedal fades to the floor
I just got a 1993 Accord LX 4 door. I noticed that the brake pedal starts out firm but after a few seconds it starts to fade to the floor. Does this mean my master cylinder is bad? I flushed all the old fluid out and checked the pads already so I assume the master cylinder is next.
thanks
thanks
price might vary from city to city u need to call ur local honda dealer ,it will probably be about 50-75 dollars more than the cheap stuff that autozone, checkers pep boys etc etc sell .....
As for replacing it make sure you bench bleed the master cylinder bwefore installing it ......once done, leave the 2 holes plugged , keep the reservoir full of fluid, remove the old master and install the new 1 ... 2 12mm nuts and the wires for the cap ,,,,
