Default Picked up a new set of pads.... but my rotors are showing some wear. :(

Those "Wear Forever" Gold-XBR's sure made a mess of my front rotors.... that is the last time that I buy them.
I was wondering why the steering wheel was shaking so much... (:rolls eyes

(Sorry for the large picture)

The other side is not quite as bad.....

Those are some of those metalurgically superior "cross vented" rotors.
The rust adds bite with the pads, and the venting helps gasses escape.

Only $120 each.

Looks like a Neon, or maybe some other Chrysler product.

i was there to verify....the pads look 'almost new' not a bad purchase for 19.95 and a lifetime warranty.

That is seriously scary, how old were your rotors when you put the pads on?

Wow, makes me wonder how your brakes didn't just fail.

JUnkyard yes, but someone drove it like that until it made it to the junkyard. I wonder if it was in an accident where it could not stop?

OMG you should bring them back to the place you bought them and see if you still have warranty! Just for sh*ts and giggles!

The front end of this Buick was in good shape... as a matter of fact the whole car was in good shape. I wondered if the brake 'issue' is what sent it to the yard.

That's freakin' awesome. Almost as good as the CV joint ball that I found laying on the pavement in a crosswalk once. Can you imagine what that sounded like, getting spit out?
