has anyone put a si sunroof into a hf body by themself? ive always like the si sunroofs. i was thinking of just buying the complete si sunroof and install it on my own. should it be pretty simple, because all you have to do is cut the roof in a right way, right...... please let me know if one of you peeps have done this and what tools did you need and did ti leak when it was raining?

 

I'm sure there's some structural support missing in the roof of the hf that's necessary to accomodate the sunroof. the roof of a unibody car does a surprising amount of work...

 

i know that you can get aftermarket sunroofs installed.....just go to your local bodyshop....they should know, oh and i heard they leak alot. not sure about it myself though

 

I've known a few people who got aftermarket sunroofs installed... I've never really seen one that looks "good" *shrug*

 

actually if you look at the inside roof of any crx you'll notice that they are all pre cut for a glass top. the supports are missing obviously. but yes a Si roof will fit spot welding and some damn good installatiion is required but yeah it'll work.
