Default Turbonator/Chips

Ever sense i got my accord, i havent missed a day with out seeing a trubonator advertised on tv or on car websites.

http://www.turbonator.com/inde...nator

I was wondering if it acually works and if anyone here has one and thinks its a good investment.

Also i was looking on the net for some good ways to get some more kick and horsepower in my car and i came across this

http://www.20horsepower.com/

i was wondering if anyone has heard of this device , has it or used it or what, or is it a good investment?

some advice, or some pointing in the right direction, or opinions are welcomed!

just dont wanna go spending money for nothing.

The turbonator is an electric fan you hook up to your intake. It won't do anything.

The chip is a resistor you put on your sensors to trick your car into thinking it needs more air. It wont do anything, and could possibly be bad for your car because it would be freaking otu all the time.

Really, honestly, i'm telling the truth. If you go to http://www.homemadeturbo.com (I think that's the address, home made turbo kits), they did a review in which they actually tested it and it didnt do ANYTHING except choke up the air intake.

If you do a search for 'chip', 'ebay chip' '20hp chip' etc. in archives, there's been many answers just like mine....if we could make 20 hp with just a chip, we'd all be doing it....

You very good friends with Todd? Known him since we were 7, tried to make it home for the funeral but higher ups said he wasn't immediate family so it's not important.

I ahve a 2000 Accord SE auto, so we're in the same boat.

Honestly, i've had more luck in suspension than speed parts. If you read the basic guide to accords, youd see teh basic parts you can do. I'd first lower the car on adjustable shocks or coilovers, get strut/sway bars, and get some good lightweight wheels.

The only quick things to do with an Accord is intake/header/cat/exhaust. You can go from there, but just suspension makes the car SO much more enjoyable. I have intake and exhaust, and the rest is suspension and it's a different (and much better) car.

probably because the type of people who buy those products are dumbasses and will "think" there car feels faster so they can be satisfied with there money well wasted..and cuz they kno their buyers will never go dyno it to prove it anyways

Don't waste your time with the TuRbOnAtOr, or the chip.......both are phony power adders......
