Default What steering rack for DC2? no power steering

I am in the process of replacing my front subframe because i think it might be slightly bent. Since i'm replacing that would or should i replace the steering rack with a different one? I have a 95 gsr and i took out power steering and i just blocked off the hoses on the steering rack. I use this car for mostly drag racing only. I've heard that the civic steering rack will shave off 60lbs or so?

a manual civic steering rack wil fit, since they all share the same crossmember. be sure to put proper sized bushings in there, so there is NO PLAY

They will in fact bolt on to the same subframe, however the splines are infact different.

Ouch.

So you need a EG steering column to use a EG steering rack? I just bought an EG rack for my DC and was told they share the same spline.

the racks will bolt up to the subframes, however the civic splines are different (smaller ) from the integra.

But you can use the coupler off the EG to make it work on the DC2 column
