does it have a factory sunroof? your name says 90 so i'm assuming it is a 90 crx. does it have rear disc brakes? does it have the si seats? maybe the stock motor was blown and they put a d15 in it with the si intake setup. is it DPFI or MPFI? get some pics up asap. that will help a lot.

it sounds like they just swapped the motor and changed over the si intake setup on it. kinda sucks but sometimes stuff like that happens.

**** well i just found the specs on the motor and its 102 bhp @ 5900 and its a 1493cc the motor is from a 92-95 civic dx/ lx so i guess its not that much less hp considering a D16A6 puts out 108hp. but i donno still kinda pissed that its not an SI

Si model is indeed D16A6... Now if your block reads D15B7, thats a 92-95 Civic Dx motor. 102 hp non-vtec. They should have told you that when they sold you the car

edit: Ahh well you just found that out. Car may still be an Si... Is the sunroof motorized?

Hopefully you still have the A6 tranny if its an Si

i got a mini me, and that block also came on some of the first gen del sols, the mini me swap will give you like 126 hp im thinking, that what my swap alone is rated at. you could do a vtec head, but thats more wiring and stress then some would like to take on

Cant link to pics on your pc bud

ZC is a very easy an cheap swap (about 1-1.5k), and you get a DOHC motor with 130 HP to boot. Cheapest and most effective swap if you ask me.

Either that or a mini-me swap.

Both are cheap and easy to swap.
