Default Hi trap speed but crappy 1/4 time

I'm running 100 mph trap speed but only running 14.5 in the 1/4 mile on street tires. This blows!!! This is on a boosted gsr. My 60 ft. was 2.279. I need to get into the 13's. Is this possible on current setup? If not, on slicks?

Whats the setup? That trap speed is about right. Its gonna depend on your powerband; how long it is and when it kicks in. You can see my best times in my sig right now. Its a stock 89 si motor with custom turbo kit. Hit full 7psi around 4k and hold it to my 7k shift point. I would think the gsr should be faster? Hows the tune, do you have any boost leaks or anything?

With slicks you could go 13's. You'll need about a mid 1.8 60 footer. I'm also assuming that you are spinning 2nd a little bit as well, correct?

I have a custom kit. The tune is fine at 7 psi. I get full boost around 4300 rpm. I'm getting 245 hp on the dyno. No boost leak and yeah, I am still spinning 2nd gear a bit.

Yea, if your puttin down that kinda power and its a good tune, then its mostly just driving. I think you should be able to get into the 13's exactly as you stand now. Just get some more runs in and try to feather it a little more into 2nd to keep the spin down. Good luck.

is this a gsr car or gsr motor.. im assuming its an integra.

depending on the weight of the car 245 should be good for 13s... my friends eg hatch weighing 2580 with a greddy kit on a jdm itr motor was going 13.2 @ 104 on 22x9.5x13s he had dynoed it ~220 hp on 6psi and turned it to 8-9psi when he was running the 13.20s.. pulling 1.8 60'

throughout the night he improved from 13.9 gradually to the 13.2, practice is good, and slicks
