Default B18C1 block with a ITR head

I just came across a short block B18C1.....sorry if rattel any ones chains but the C1 non-v-tec head just isn't gona cut it....i have a B18A1 with a nast B16 port an polished head with skunk two cams in a 92 hatch...doesn't run all that bad just need to give it some pulls on the dyno...anyway! i seeing my C1 with a ITR head give me some thoughts if any one has been brave enough to pull it off


OH BUDGET IS A BIT OF A ISSUE.....

your going to loose .5 in compression by using the itr head over the gsr. It would be a good idea to run a set of p30 or jdm p73's to bring the compression up.

Thats perfect i got my old GSR head.....from the block in my hatch. does any one know what is the dilly with head placement what is my best bet with the build of the b18c1 bottom end ? i'm looking for a bullet proof motor that won't put a dent in my wallet....i'm looking at about 4 1/2 grand to play with.
