91 CRX Si B16A1 Swap...car will turn over, but won't start..story inside..any ideas?

We just put a B16A1 into my friends 91 CRX Si...5speed. we have everything done, but when we tried to start the car it turns over fine, but won't start..like kick up at all. when we plug the PR3 in the red light doesn't turn on at all...so we thought the computer was bad, checked it in my friends B16 CRX, turned on great. So we tried the CRX Si ECU (PM6) and the red light turns on, but stays on... we aren't getting any spark forsure...but can't figure out why. fuel pump won't go either unless using the PM6. does anybody have any ideas on what else it could be. we are also getting a spark jumping from the starter....??? we have everything grounded that we can find. thanks for any help in advance. We bought a brand new one, people said it might be on upside down...checked and that wasen't it...

we got new cap/rotor butthe others no. what are they? what car do i get them off?

Get the cap and rotor off a 90 integra. That is what I got mine from and they fit fine

i had the same problem with my ls/vtec.. the pr3 wouldn't read my fuel pump so i had to re-wire the fuel pump and make it work..

your running an obd1 distributor on a pre OBD car? (i think its pre obd, ethire that or its obd 0)

Hondas in general all have 1 problem in common: the distributors go bad. Simply changing the cap and rotor will never fix the problem. It is actually the ignitor inside the distributor itself.
The spark jumping from the starter is a bad ground. It is almost always the one from the passenger side frame rail to the transmission.
