Default Need suggestions B20 VTEC

Well fellas I'm going to be dropping a B20 VTEC Motor in my EK, now I've searched and I looked at B20/LS VTEC all day, but I just want to know how can I build my motor and it be reliable. I dont want it to be a buildn't race motor I just want to have a swap in my car and and be able to say its a B20 VTEC. I mean I want to have some power over a single cam, but all I plan on doing to the motor is adding bolt ons h/i/e thats it. So if you guys could help me out with some suggestions I would be thankful.

In the search threads you found on the subject. Read and choose out of what you see, what you would want and what will work for you.

Right, I got you I just want it to be reliable, not really concerned with power as long as it has torque. Still open for suggestion, what would be the best set up for my B20.

What do you mean what is the best setup? Sounds like you already have it planned out. Just get yourself a vtec head (B16/GSR/ITR) and then a decent I/H/E. Just do some research on LS and B20 Vtec swaps and build it right and it should be reliable (I would go with an LS block myself though). Once it's all done you should be able to beat SOHC's no problem, unless they have a turbo.
