as of right now i have a non vtec d15 but its not from the U.S. and i was just wondering because exhaust, intake manifold, camgear, pulleys and stuff like that what else do you suggest for someone like me with little money. what i'm trying to say is i want to get more bang for my buck and i was just asking for suggestions.

well, it will all depend on your budget, you could save up som money instead of buying intake, exhaust etc. or you could do a mini-me, or maybe a d-series swap, they can be had for relatively cheap, and will be good improvement.

 

save like 400 and get yourself a d16z6 and swap it yourself, youll learn something and be able to build from there
