Default 2002 headlight conversion for first gen nsx

I was wondering if there were any first gen nsx's with the conversion out there?
How much would it cost to do it?

Sure, you can convert it to the 2002 front end. But if you're going to change the headlights, then you have to change the hood, and the front bumper and air dam, and a few other pieces. Total cost: Around $6,000. Click here for more information.

Can you convert it the new ones back? That's the way to go.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the exposed headlights.

I prefer the flippers. Keeps the car sleek looking during the daylight hours.

They did a horrible job on the light design IMHO.

i agree with the rest of you that the newer designed lights arent at good looking as the flippers. but the new lights were for the aerodynamics of the front bumper which is better because of the turn signal lights being integrated to the headlight instead of having them inset in the bumper. come on this doesnt look good...?

No it doesn't look as good as the flip up headlamps, it looks bug-eyed.

I'm glad to hear you guys feel this way also.

I was really dissapointed when honda came out with the new style headlight.

They're basically just flipups, only they're flipped up all the time.. so it looks wierd,

I've seen some nsx's with aftermarket non-flipup headlight conversions, i'm sure its expensive, but probably cheaper than the oem stuff, and looks GREAT.

however I doubt it lights the road as well,
which is probably why the new lights look so bugeyed.. to get the light out over the front bumper better..

thats just a gues stho
