It's a damn car, what's to be paranoid about? If they steal it, they steal it. Life goes on.

Have an ITR is like having a hot gf. Everyone wants her and you're better off without if anyone is good enough to steal her from you. If you're so worried about her leaving you/getting stolen, get something you can enjoy your life with. If the costs outweigh the benefits, why bother?

That's a chance you take owning a car like this. I've given up A LOT of blood, sweat and money for it and know I could wake up one day without it. If you're not willing to put up with it, get something else.

You should heed the advice found in your sig and enjoy your R like it was your last day with it, cause someday it will be.

I'm selling mine for this very reason. Too paranoid about it, can't ever leave it parked anywhere, blah blah blah. Not worth it at this time in my life. In the future, however, I would definitely consider buying another.

I take my Mugen ECU out every time I leave the car. At least I will still have my discontinued ECU for the next R. As for the rest, that is what insurance is for.

Not paranoid at all. I pay my expensive *** insurance on time, so why worry?
That said, I wouldnt leave it parked downtown DC overnight.

I keep mine in the garage and covered parking at work. With regards to theft and the like...I drive it where I want to go and don't worry about it. THis is my daily driver and its a blast! That explains why it has over 90,000 hard miles on it LOL.

I plan on driving it into the ground and getting something else when it goes. There are tons of cool cars on the market today that I would enjoy beating on daily!
