Default 2point6 New Dyno

There is a lot to consider here as far as my dyno figures are concerned. When my car was tuned at APEXr, this was done on a Dyno Jet. The air temps were also very cold... in the upper 40 degrees that night. I am not sure what intake temps were but I can imagine they were much lower than my last 2 dyno sessions at Xact Dyno and Locash Racing. Not to mention, the dynos are totally different at Xact and Locash being that they are Dynapacks. They read differently and it is almost impossible to compare a run made on a Dyno Jet to the Dynapack. The car made 247.7whp and 182.2wtq

At Xact Dyno (25th June 10:39 A.M.) the ambient air temp was in the mid 80's in the building. Intake temps were 110-115 degrees. They have AC directed on the car. My car made 241whp and 186wtq.

At Locash Racing (27th August 4:47 P.M.) the ambient air temp was in the upper 110+ in the building. Intake temps were 155-160 degrees. Unfortunately they do not have AC. My car made 249whp and 199wtq.
there was a big jump in numbers when the car was cooler, but these numbers I don't consider "real life conditions".

Very impressive. Dynapack or not, those are great numbers.
I hope to hit 200lb/ft of torque someday.

2point6: very nice... this car is already so impressive, esp. dipping well into the 12's and all...

how much does this car weigh for reference?

Yes this is first tunning session for the ITBs. Still on 91 octane. I am sure there is more power to be made... maybe not a lot, but I think that a few areas could be focused on for better results. Even race gas would be a benifit, but I tune on what I run daily.

Everyone else, I really appreciate the compliments. Thankyou.

Food for thought...

Locash has used both dynojet and dynapack dynoes. So far the Dynapack is reading 8-10 percent lower than the Dynajet. I realize there is some calibration changes that can make it close to the Dynojet, but on average Joe has seen all previously dynoed (Dynojet) cars make less power on the Dynapack. Part of the problem is that the Dynojet uses time to measure how fast the drum spins. The Dynapack does not. (there is more to it, but this is not a dyno comparison thread) If a 4th gear run takes for example 15 seconds from 2000rpm to an 8000rpm redline then those figures could be entered into the Dynapak. The problem with that is, what if the car is making more or less power... the runs would take more or less time to complete. This makes the dyno comparison again not valid. I will post my previous Dynapack reading tomorrow for comparison.
