will a 87lxi carburetor fit an 88lx or an 89 fit an 88?

 

The LXi series is fuel injected, there is no carburetor to swap.

thanks for ur reply! will an 89 lx fit an 88lx? i saw an 89 on ebay for sale and i have an 88 honda accord...from what i can see they look pretty much the same but i cant really get a great look at the whole carb from the pic.

 

I did a little research for you and I came up with this site (I haven't finished yet 'cuz I have yet to determine if the '89 accord was offered with a card, and I suspect not).

They show carbureted Accords from 1986 thru 1988 (2.0l engine) share the same carburetor.

The 1984's and '85's were 1.8l engines and called for a different carburetor.

It could be infered that by that web vendor ("CarburetorsDirect.com) omitting a listing for an '89 Accord, that it's either different than the '86 thru '88 applications OR the car only came with PFI.
