first off take the nut at the top of the fender off. put radio on and pull on antenna it will come out, now to remove the broken piece that is stuck in motor, you need to remove the motor, open the trunk, on the left side you got to remove clips to pull back liner to expose antenna motor, there is 1 10mm nut you need to remove, connection , and a drain tube, once motor is out , there is a gray plate with 3 screws , remove the screws, pull out the plastic round piece and voila' the broken piece is there, once removed put all back together,,,,,,,to install new mast it is easier if someone put radio on , you hold the mast over the motor then have him ( her ) put radio off the teeth on the motor gear will pull the mast down , by the way there is only 1 way that the teeth on the mast will match the motor so if 1 way wont go down turn in the other way ,,,,,,i cannot recall wether teeth face frt or rear

ooo, thanks man, but what if the broken piece isnt inside there? the antenna didnt break completely off, just got really badly bent so i tried bending it back but the part where it got bent was fatter so the antenna would not go back down all the way.
