what are these plugs for?

I'm trying to help out a friend - tracking down some cel's that don't make sense:

Blue and grey plugs in the pic.....?

IIRC, those don't go anywhere. If you spin them over, the end should be blocked off.

The blue connector in that pic is definitely plugged.

What codes is he throwing?

the large blue and grey plugs are junction blocks that tie certain wires in the harness together. the small grey plug in the pic is the O2 sensor plug.

The 02 is plugged in cap'n. I'd say the dangling plug is the knock sensor.

negitive ghost rider. there is no dangling plug. what you think is dangling has somthing to do with power stearing, as it is on the PS line.
