I was wondering what the best format to save a picture was to get the best quality? I am always saving is as Jpg and it never looks that great, and I really want to take pictures of my del sol.

.bmp take up too much space..(mb)
but .png is almost the same quality of the .bmp up the size (kb) is smaller

I normallly use Jpeg but i heard someone say that it wasnt that great. But if space is concerned it i have plenty of it.
