where is the MES ( memory erase signal ) on a 4th gen prelude
For the 4th gen you can undo the 10 amp clock fuse and it will reset the ECU. I dunno about the SRS computer though.

from my prior experiences, pulling the battery does not reset the SRS light (well.. atleast in the time period I let the unit sit.. which was more than enough time to reset the ECU a hundred times lol).
My guess is if something's up with the SRS it's considered a major safety issue and they want to make sure you get it checked, and not just pull a fuse and the light goes away.
I know on the civic's it's to the left of the steering column.. atleast on the ~96-98. I dunno if that's where it's at on the 4th gen's or not

i know for sure its nothing wrong with the system because i stilled a JDM climate control and i started the car without the passenger plug in. then the light stayed on.
but anyways i fixed the problem. the dash plug was loses
and i pluged it back in and everything is working great.
