maybe electrical, smoking, weired idle, and gaz problem, and bogging, all in one, plz help
i turbocharged my car recently, and placed secondary injectors on the intake, 2 of them and this week i decided to put myself a clean intake mani of a 2000 lude, mines a 97, and the mani was messed up, and had a small vacum leak, so i took i off, (being a do it yourselfer) and put the new one on, once i did that i pluged all the hoses and i got bad idle, (leak for sure) and i cant rev, when i prss the gas it goes to rev and just stalls, sometimes when it reves it bogs a lot, and then when i let go of the gaz completly, it stalls, white smoke now comes out of the exhaust.
i desided to put back the old intake, to see if that was the problem, and i read up on the net, and thaught maybe i put the coolent lines in the wrong place, so i bypassed the coolent so i dont **** that up in any way, and made 100% sure the gaskets are good, and tried to run it again, and same probklem. thinking back, there might be more than one thing that i did, and i wanted to know what i should change and in what order to find out what the problem is,
the other thing is that, the live power wire to my sound system fell for a sec, and touched the intake tube where the sup. injectors are!
so maybe i fried something, (what could i have fried??????)
and next was the thing with the coolent, but i cleaned everything after and noticed that the coolent hoses was never placed in a place where the coolent could have entered the runners, (at least i think not)
im thinking maybe the 3 bar map sesor is fucked?
or the computer
or the computer and timing retard witch is all in one unit, for the turbo,
also, when i rev i dont see any actual boost on the comp. but i here the bov, and the screen always sais o.5psi boost, and it never did that, could that be from the leak or is that a comp. problem?
any sugestions would help. and sorry about any spelling errors!
