Default Question about prelude engines.

I was told that the h23 is stock with 160bhp, and 140btq. But no Vtec?
and the h22 is 200bhp and Vtec.
Is this correct?..
this is the deciding factor between a prelude, talon or civic...

If you have the choice between those 3 cars, get the Prelude....Talons are pieces of **** like an Ecslipse, and Civics are slow unless you do a motor swap

the h23 has 160hp and 156 pounds of torque, not 140.
and the h22 has 190, until the 5th gen, unless you are counting jdm versions, which were always 200.

don't let people tell you what to get, it's all about what you want with your car. and if you want something fast, get a turboed talon. so easily to mod and potential to make fast as expletive

4th GEN FTW!!!

These threads always end up being about which is better ... 4th or 5th ... Its a personal pref. Get the one you like better....If you want lighter...get the 4th...if you want a couple extra hp and more weight get a 5th gen...PERSONAL PREF!!!!

what said. I personally like the body styling of the 4th gen much better than the 5th gen. not to thread jack but I was just wondering does an exaust from the cat back- not the downpipe, from a 5thgen fit a 4th gen or are the hangers in differet positions?

get a prelude and swap a true jdm h23
230 hp and around 190 tq.

also a 93 can have either the h22, h23 or the f22. ordered in best to worst.
just depends on the trim level

JDM H23A (VTEC) has 200hp, not 230

If you get a Talon be sure to get a Tsi. the 4g63 is an amazing motor but don't even bother with the 420a in th Esi...

Other than that, get a Prelude.

I'm thinking it depends on what his plans are in the future. I nice all around car that will handle and be fun with basic bolts ons... I would say prelude. A headache car is probabl the talon. A comuter car.. civic
