NSX just sold for 10 thousand dollars.
trust me as fat as these things go, you get what you pay for...
i wrecked my dads 1991 Sebring Silver NSX about four years ago and it got totalled out. the insurance company later sold the car for 18k as a salvage title. we later saw the car on sale on yahoomotors for an unimpressive $21,800. the car looked clean but let me tell you as the one who smashed it, it was NOT in good condition. so it took a quite a bit of money to replace all the aluminum body parts and windows. seeing an NSX go for 10k means that it truly was worth 10k.

Forest Gump said "You never know what you're going to get". My friends dad works at an auto auction and he buys very nice looking cars for fairly cheap. My friend got a 2001 Audi A4 for 6K. Motor was great with moderate miles. The body was in great shape but the back doors didn't open, the trunk leaked, and the tires wore unevenly in the rear. Come to find out, the car was in an accident and "fixed" by a local shop. No salvage title here. The car looked great but had tons of flaws.
You could purchase a used NSX for 10K and spend another 25K on parts getting it back to spec. Add that to the countless hours of frustration. No thanks
