if i was to swap a b18c5 into an EG hatch would i need to widen the engine hull? or worry about new springs and shocks? n e thing else?
negatory. look at the sticky at the top of this forum........
is anyone searching tonight?
there is no real dimensional differences between the b16 and the b18 except maybe deck height, not really sure but in japan the eg6's had a b series in it. it will fit in without any chasis mods.
as for suspension, you should be fine i have the same spring shock combo from 5 years ago with my d16z6 in it.

#1 make sure your engine is still good, do a compression check first. You don't want to do all that work then find out your engine is bad. #2 make sure you don't forget or miss a wire when using a old harness to rewire to the new motor#3 Make sure you put in a new clutch in before putting the motor together and in your car beacuse if you decided to put in a new clutch at another time you will have more headaches...the motor should drop right in with the integra mounts
Easy swap dude. Thats what I have in mine. Hood clearance is TIGHT, but it works just fine. I WOULD recommend integra springs in the front, since they are ment for the additional weight, but your suspension components will be fine.
